17 countries participating in Petrocaribe summit

Leaders of 17 Caribbean and Central American countries are in Caracas to participate in the 9th summit of the PDVSA. The meeting will feature a multilateral agenda, with an emphasis on integration, cooperation, and socioeconomic development. The energy alliance offers preferential rates to its 19 member countries, but also gone beyond supplying oil, strengthening political and financial ties.
