Description

A new study from the Bureau of Economic Research credits the MTV hit show "16 and Pregnant" with a role in the declining birth rate. The study called the program "sex education for the 21st century." It estimates that the show led to a 5.7 percent reduction in teen births in the 18 months following its original premiere.
