# 8 Gullivers Kingdom\r
Gullivers Kingdom was a theme park that existed in Japan that featured a dead-eyed plastic giant as one of its main attrion. The park was in business between 1997 and 2000 but was immediately surrounded by financial problems. Gullivers Kingdom sat in the middle of nowhere between a small village at the foot of Mt Fuji and the tragic Aokigahara aka Suicide Forest. A creepy theme park out in the boondocks next to the second most popular suicide location in the world does not bode well for a family vacation. Needless to say, the park is no more. \r

# 7 New Orleans Six Flags\r
New Orleans was once home to a Six Flags theme park before it was taken by the disaster known as Hurricane Katrina. Although most of New Orleans has been successful in rebuilding, the Six Flags property remains untouched like a huge physical memory of what happened over a decade ago. The park is an eery look into the past, most of the attrions laid to waste by the hurricane and strewn about in pieces throughout the property. The parts that arent still submerged in water are covered in graffiti. A giant disembodied clown head lies in the middle of a path. Its a tragic and creepy looking window into the past. \r

# 6 Sanzhi UFO Pod Village\r
The Sanzhi UFO Pod Village is an abandoned resort that was being built during the 1980s in Taiwan. It was meant to be a tourist attrion and vacation resort that featured the novelty futuristic style UFO pod village for visitors to stay in, but misfortune haunted it. To build the village, an old dragon statue was bisected to widen the road to the resort spot which is rumored to have lead to several car crashes and fatal on-site accidents and ultimately result in the end of the project. The UFO pod village became the center of spooky rumors but is scheduled to be torn down for a new resort spot and theme park to be built. Currently, there is no news on whether the construction of this new park has lead to more deaths. \r

It slowly grew since then accumulating more rides, attrions, and even giant plastic dinosaurs. # 4 Nara Dreamland\r
Nothing looks creepier than an abandoned amusement park. Nara Dreamland looks like an alternate reality Disneyland that has been left to rot. Thats pretty much exly what it was, ually. It was Japans answer to the American Disneyland and was really popular for 40 years until the real life Disneyland moved to Tokyo and usurped all their revenue. Now the creepy looking theme park has been overtaken by weeds and weathering making it a mysterious looking landmark for urban explorers to journey through. \r

# 3 Pripyat Amusement Park\r
The Pripyat Amusement park in Ukraine was abandoned for less mysterious reasons but looks super creepy nonetheless. Located in Pripyat, Ukraine, it was abandoned because of the notorious Chernobyl disaster, when the nearby Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant had a catastrophic nuclear accident. This caused the entire nearby city to become polluted with deadly radiation, including this park. Now all that is left is the creepy skeleton of an old amusement park, left in a hurry and up for Mother Nature to reclaim. \r

# 2 Chinese Wonderland Amusement Park\r
One thing Modern China is known for are construction projects that lead to a bunch of empty ghost constructions that look like they were meant to be grand architectural marvels that are left unpopulated and hollow. One of those projects is Chinas Wonderland Amusement Park. It was meant to be a massive park that would give disneyland a run for its money, but it was abandoned in 1998 after disputes over land prices halted progress. Before it began being deconstructed to make way for another construction project, it looked like a dystopian version of the Disneyland we all know and love. This version of the Disney Castle is made of wire and untreated cement and stands in the middle of a desolate dirt field. \r
