Description

Uber requires most drivers to sign an arbitration agreement. The agreement requires disputes to be resolved directly with the company, and not through a court.
There is an option to opt-out of the clause. But it must be done in writing within 30 days of signing the agreement.
Now, business Insider reports that 12,501 drivers have filed a lawsuit in California. They are accusing Uber of ignoring their requests for arbitration.
