5. Apodora\r
The apodora is a non venomous species of snake found in Papua New Guinea. These are large constrictor snakes, meaning instead of using venom like a rattlesnake or cobra, theyll strangle its prey until it becomes unconscious or dies. These snakes can measure 4.5 meters or 14 feet long! Thats not something you want to find in your home. It weighs no more than about 22 kilograms or 50 pounds. These snakes do have the capability to change colors and it can supposedly change colors when its angered. They prefer feasting on smaller mammals during night. Females grow to be much larger than males. The worlds biggest snake resides in forests, swamps and marshes to stay moist. They love eating capybaras, wild pigs and have even eaten jaguars! Nothing is safe from this snake. The stretchy jaw allows them to eat basically any animal, regardless the size. They can apparently go weeks or even months without eating, after a big meal. But one this thing gets hungry again, you better watch out!
