In today’s program the anchorperson highlighted the appointment of DIG S&ESD, Mr. Maqsood Ahmed as president of International Police Organization (IPO) in recognition of his invaluable services to the police department, saying that such brilliant officers are the need of department as he was appointed president by an executive board of IPO in Italy.

The anchor took live chief reporter, Asad Zaidi, who while answering told that the officers like DIGP Maqsood Ahmed is the need of police department to raise the spirit of the department and it is a matter of pride as today he is appointed as President of IPO.

The chief reporter added that the DIG Maqsood Ahmed served 22-years in Sindh police on different posts as SP, SSP and was also awarded Tamgah-e-Imtiaz by the Government of Pakistan, adding that he established an exemplary force ‘’Special Security Unit’’ which is providing security to important personalities and on various mega events.

The reporter further added that the emergency police unit ‘’Police Madadgar-15’’ is responding in a brilliant way within 10 to 15 minutes in any emergency situation, its just because of Maqsood Ahmed as he revamped the unit to assist the citizens, and the unit is serving with the collaboration of Special Security Unit (SSU).
