014 Being Bored

Poor little Bobby, he’s so bored. He doesn’t know what to do so he goes to complain to his mother. “Mom” he whines, “I’m so bored, there’s nothing to do”. “Why don’t you play with Billy next door?” “I hate him, he never wants to do what I like to do” replies Bobby. “Well, how about calling on Doreen?” “No way!” says Bobby, “She always wants to play house, and that’s for girls!” “Maybe you’d like to ride your new bicycle” says his mother. “You hardly ever use it”. “No, I hate the color, I wouldn’t be seen dead riding that ugly thing!” Bobby protests. “I know” she says, “what say you practice playing the new grand piano your father and I bought you last week?” “Are you kidding? That thing is a piece of junk! How do you expect me to even want to touch the keys? You and Dad wasted your money on that!” “Well Honey, I’m stumped. I don’t know what to tell you” says Bobby’s mother. “Wait a minute, I have a great idea Bobby” “What’s that mom?” “Why don’t you help me wash these dishes?” “Sorry Mom” replies Bobby, “I’m way too busy now, I have too many things to do.
