0 (Zero) ... - Not Bad, Just Different

A girl sat alone, clutching her knife, cutting out all of her pain.
Her wrists cried the tears she knew she could not, and she didn't quite know what to blame.
Her mind tossed her the blade, “You deserve the hurt, ”-she was not perfect, you see:
Disbelieving in the 'God' that she called a fraud and falling for other lasses she'd meet.
She was not a daft girl, she had faith in her mind, and claimed all the guilt and the lie,
All of the pain of the world found it's way to her shoulders and she fell onto her knees and she cried.
Nothing was right, it all was wrong, she had no idea what to do!
She was lost and alone, and believed all the lies her mind had put her through.
But there was a woman, not too meek or too mild, who came to the girl just in time.
Familiar strangers, they were, not too close or too far, but she still told the girl to go and shine.
'You're fine as you are.' the words were not foreign, but unheard by the ears of the youth,
The woman just beamed, 'Be who you are. You're perfect right now.' and somehow, these words were the truth.
The girl looked down at her blood-rusted blade, then at the world with all of it's hate.
And the girl simply smiled, her knife on her floor. She'd live and love, and leave details to fate.
