Karachi: Dr. Essa Laboratory and Diagnostic Centre with collaboration of CPLC organized seminar on COVID-19 and free blood screening camp for sugar, hepatitis, malaria and HIV-AIDS at Special Security Unit Headquarters today.

Dr. Farhan Essa and other senior doctors delivered lectures to the police officers and personnel about awareness and protection against infectious diseases including Coronavirus.

Dr. Farhan Essa accompanied by Addl: Commissioner Karachi Dr. Waqas Roshan and Deputy Chief CPLC Sindh Murad Sohni inspecting the medical camp said that the better health and physical fitness will always help the commandos to effectively perform their duties amid ongoing pandemic.

Blood screening of a large number of police personnel including senior police officers was conducted in the medical camp.

Security Officer Muzaffar Iqbal on behalf of DIG PS&ESD Mr. Maqsood Ahmed thanked the management of the Dr. Essa Laboratory and Diagnostic Centre and CPLC for arranging the seminar and medical camp for the welfare of police personnel in the Headquarters, and also presented honorary shield.
